But the vote was 10 to 8. The Chief, he’s got his hand up! Look!

Jack Nicholson and A Few Good Men director buddy Rob Reiner have teamed up to slice-and-dice some of his classic roles into a Hillary Clinton ad. From the U.K.’s The Guardian:

“Hubba hubba hubba, money, money, money, who do you trust?” asks Nicholson in the guise of the Joker at the start of the compilation, which also features Jack Torrance from the Shining observing “Things could be better, Lloyd, things could be a whole lot better.” Colonel Nathan Jessup from A Few Good Men also lends his support, informing comrades that “There is nothing on this earth sexier, believe me gentlemen, than a woman you have to salute in the morning.”

It’s probably a good thing they cut off that quote right there (anyone who’s seen the movie will know why). The video is here:

But Holy Schnikes, here come the Batmans–with their own endorsements!

But the most recent recruit to the Obama campaign will cause the most worries for Nicholson. Following the Joker’s declaration on YouTube, the former caped crusader himself, Michael Keaton, has announced his support for the senator from Illinois.

Obama’s celebrity count includes Robert De Niro and George Clooney

No word on who Adam West, Christian Bale and Val Kilmer are behind.
