Former Republican front-runner (yes, he was the front-runner for a week or two in the fall) and sometime-actor Fred Thompson is looking for a comeback…not in the political arena, but in Hollywood.
After ending his bizarre campaign for President, Thompson took a (well-deserved?)break. And now we’re hearing from multiple reports– including Reuters and CNN, Thompson has signed with a Hollywood agency.
From CNN’s Political Ticker:
The former Republican presidential candidate is seeking a return to his acting career, having recently signed a deal with the William Morris Agency, Reuters reports.
Thompson, a former senator from Tennessee, starred as New York District Attorney Arthur Branch in the NBC show “Law & Order” until last year when Republican Party insiders convinced him to mount a presidential bid.
